I love the smell of melted butter.
Cookie dough to refrigerate.
Unfortunately I didn't get back to the dough until over a day later.
And so it turned super hard.
I chopped it up with a butter knife... this reminds me of the fudge I got in Niagara Falls.
They're supposed to be balls but they fit so nicely into the half-teaspoon that I made them half-balls.
Melting the chocolate filling. This is the normal way to melt stuff, over a pan of hot water, instead of microwaving.
Instead of spreading the chocolate with a knife I tried just dropping the cookies into it.
The problem was my fingers smeared chocolate all over sticking them together.
Yum!
They were a little salty because I accidentally doubled the salt, but they were MUCH MUCH better than the wheat flour ones.
