We start with getting some watermelon.
Then it's blended into a puree.
I pour the glaze onto the watermelon and then chill it. It's SUPPOSED to go in an ice cream machine but where do I get one of those?
Instead I just put it in a wide bowl and break it up at intervals to stop it from being a chunk of ice. Here's what I get.
Not too bad for substitute ice cream. But I make a mess of pouring it.
I put the rest of the watermelon back in the freezer for it to get more solid. Then I quit checking on it and was left with a chunk of ice to make sorbet out of.
A fork works great to break it up.It's like a watermelon slush.
The bowl looks really pretty when zoomed in. At this point I think I got tired and just ate it. But from the pictures of my first watermelon sorbet, you can see it gets really pretty.
I should become a food photographer.
