Plain Hot Dogs

Sometimes, on rare, rare occassions when the stars align just right, I actually make something that you could order at a restaurant.

It helps that they're hot dogs because I like plain old-fashioned hot dogs. It also helps when I get the ingredients nicely chopped beforehand. Like the minced cheese, for instance.

And the onions.

I have a griddle-thing for baking that I'm testing out here.

Now, I have some dried sweet potato fries I need to get in edible form. To moisten them I use butter.

Cheese doesn't hurt either.

Now, at this point the hot dogs are done but when I take them out half spill onto the floor.
So I'm going to make hot dogs with these and then put some more back in along with the fries.

The cheese and the onions in the buns are nicely grilled.

More onions.

First set of hot dogs done!

Now the fries and the second set are finishing.

Yummy! And definitely serve-able.
